Part IV Examination
Requesting Test Accommodations
The NBCE makes every attempt to honor requests for test accommodations for any of the following reasons:
- a physical or learning disability
- a temporary physical limitation, such as for a nursing mother or a broken limb
- a religious conviction requiring a modified test schedule
When requesting test accommodations due to a physical or learning disability, an applicant must submit a request form, a current disability report, and an evaluator review. The request form must be submitted each time an examinee applies for an examination. See the test accommodation guidelines brochure for specific documentation information.
Each request is reviewed on an individual basis and appropriate accommodations are granted if approved.

Religious Conviction Registration
If a religious conviction prohibits an applicant from taking the second day of the Part IV Examination on a holy day, the applicant must submit a current Religious Conviction Registration form to apply for religious conviction consideration. The applicant will be registered to take the examination on a Friday/Saturday or Friday/Sunday rotation.
