Welcome to the NBCE on-line sample tests.

The National Board has developed these sample tests to assist in your preparation for the actual NBCE examinations. The questions in these sample tests and the content that they cover are representative of the style and quality of actual NBCE examination questions.

To most accurately reflect your mastery of the test content, we recommend that you replicate actual testing conditions. Specifically, we suggest that you work through the sample tests as if they were actual tests: arrange for uninterrupted time and do not use texts or study aids.

You have 20 minutes to complete each question on this sample test. After 20 minutes, the exam will time out due to inactivity. If your test times out, you will have to pay for the test again.

WARNING

If you have software that prevents "pop-up" windows from opening, you will not be able to access these sample tests. Before purchasing any sample tests, you must disable any ad blocking software that prevents new windows from opening.

Because actual NBCE examinations are timed, we recommend that you allocate the amount of time listed below to complete the sample tests:

  • 40 minutes for each subject in Parts I and II (50 questions per subject)
  • 40 minutes for Physiotherapy (50 questions)
  • 20 minutes for Acupuncture (25 questions)
  • 90 minutes for Part III (75 questions)

    Once you pay for a sample test, you must take the test immediately. After starting a sample test, you must provide an answer to each question before proceeding. When you complete a sample test, you will receive a list of the questions that you answered incorrectly along with the correct answer.
